At Trinity Baptist Church, we are passionate about making disciples. We seek to do that not only by edifying one another as a church family, but also by sharing the light of the gospel with others. Our desire is to see the gospel go forward, first in our community, and then all around the world.

Local Outreach

We believe fulfilling the Great Commission starts with sharing the light of the gospel where God has placed us—in Flushing and in the greater Flint area. This takes place primarily as our church members live out their individual callings to live as salt and light among the people God has placed around them—their family, friends, and co-workers.

In addition to that, the church has a number of regular outreaches to help facilitate these efforts:

  • Weekly jail ministry (Genesee County Jail)

  • Released Time Bible Club (in partnership with RBM Ministries)

  • Monthly door-to-door evangelism

Global Outreach

As Revelation 7 describes, the ultimate goal of missions is worship—to gather a multitude from every tribe, people, and nation to one day worship the Father and the Son around the throne. Our heartbeat for missions is that the gospel message would go forward all over the world, especially in places where there is no strong gospel witness.

We seek to support international missions efforts by:

  1. Providing financial and prayer support for missionaries

  2. Sending and participating in mission trips to support gospel efforts

  3. Giving toward missions projects around the world

In addition to our year-round focus on missions efforts, we set aside one month each year (September) to focus on worldwide missions and to hear from current or prospective missionaries the church supports.
